Multinational Manager or Executive
- You must have worked abroad for at least one of the past three years (or since your last legal entry if already employed in the U.S.).
- The U.S. employer must have been operating for at least one year and must have a qualifying relationship—such as parent, branch, affiliate, or subsidiary—with your foreign employer.
- Your role in the U.S. must be managerial or executive.
Extraordinary Ability
- You must show extraordinary ability in a field such as science, arts, education, business, or athletics, with sustained national or international recognition.
- This can be proven through major awards or by meeting at least three of several criteria (e.g., published work, prestigious memberships, significant original contributions, leading roles, high salary, or commercial artistic success).
- No job offer or employer sponsorship is required.
Outstanding Professors and Researchers
- You must show international recognition for exceptional achievements in an academic field, have at least three years of teaching or research experience, and be coming to the U.S. for a tenure-track or comparable research position.
- You also need to meet specific eligibility criteria and have a job offer from a U.S. employer.
